Parents: aka PESTS ! *no offense*

How many times in a day do parents go around pestering you to do something u should, don’t want or have TO DO !?
how many times do u have to put up with NEVER-ENDING lectures which go in one ear and then out the other ?!
personally....id say everday ! :P
*sigh** ok, now dont go on about how important our parents are in our lives...and that they only wish for us to have the best and all that crap ...cause i KNOW THAT !
and there is no doubt that i totally love/respect/honour and obey them !!
HONESTLY!! im not a problem child !
but when it comes to things like MY studies and MY "net surfing" :P or things that really seem to bother my parents....they just go over board with their "TEACHINGS"....i mean, sometimes things just get a little outta hand for me to tolerate, and when that LAST NERVE is on the edge of exploding....THATS when i decide to turn to the solitude and comfort of MY blog...n let it all out :P:P
this is where I seek refuge from all the daily DISASTERS THAT OCCUR in my life…
disaster is maybe too strong of a word-lets keep it to, “dilemmas”
yup, my DILEMMAS

The one im facing nowadays is with regard to MY STUDIES
its a very VULNERABLE topic when it comes to parents....no mother or father could possibly live without lecturing their child about it atleast once in his/her life....apparently i've been a target for this discussion a great too many times....ever since we got here (to america; for the holidays) my mom hasnt went onnnee dayyyyy without bugging me to OPEN MY BOOKS AND UTILIZE MY TIME ! arghhhh
This IRRITATES ME because:
1) Holidays arent meant to be spent studying !
2)She thinks my result sucked (the 82% seems to have no value)
3)She threatened to take away my internet priveleges cause i was spending too much time ORKUTTING instead of STUDYING ! grrrrrrr
4)This constant pestering has made me go through prelonged periods of inferiority complex :(

and now, i have to get a TIME TABLE ready for tomorrow for my mom to see !! she said it was for her own TASALLEE :P to keep a check on what ive been doing or plan to do in the future INSHALLAH

the problem might be TYPICAL...but its one heck of a roller coaster ride !
I HOPE I GET THROUGH THIS SMOOTHLY ! :D:D
